An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 22nd minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Moises Arellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Arellano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Arellano came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Moises Arellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Arellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Moises Arellano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Moises Arellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Camilo Franco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moises Arellano came out and tried to block the shot, but Camilo Franco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 65th minute. Camilo Franco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 69th playminute. 72 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Moises Arellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moises Arellano came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 73rd minute. In the 79th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River tu grato nombre's Moises Arellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, River tu grato nombre's Moises Arellano got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shayne Lovett charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shayne Lovett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shayne Lovett hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Uruguay played a much better game than River tu grato nombre and deserved their victory. The River tu grato nombre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
