GoooooL were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Engin Dönmez took the corner. The corner ended in Engin Dönmez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Gavril Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. GoooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 42 minutes GoooooL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gavril Nicea quite easily take care of the ball. If Engin Dönmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Engin Dönmez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gavril Nicea made a huge save. With a little luck, GoooooL's Gavril Nicea got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Nicea. Gavril Nicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 91 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Gavril Nicea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador played a much better game than GoooooL and deserved their victory. The GoooooL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
