Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Özen Ulualp. Alvera Spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Özen Ulualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Alvera Spor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Alvera Spor's Özen Ulualp managed to reach the ball for a save. Özen Ulualp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Alvera Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Özen Ulualp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özen Ulualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Alvera Spor's Boruc Burdalski got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özen Ulualp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of the match. Özen Ulualp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özen Ulualp having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Hakkı Makbul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özen Ulualp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Özen Ulualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özen Ulualp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Okanay Yalınayak hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özen Ulualp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Hakkı Makbul in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Alvera Spor were awarded a corner. Mehmet Hakkı Makbul went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Özen Ulualp however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özen Ulualp having to interfere. Özen Ulualp was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Mehmet Hakkı Makbul's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Hakkı Makbul helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 89 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Burdalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Alvera Spor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
