Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Remigio Lehen started the match with the kick off. Igor Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Lehen in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Lopes. Ricardo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lopes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. In the 29th minute, Igor Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Moscovi Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ricardo Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Moscovi Ψ's Denis Cordarryl got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Distiratsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 50 minutes, Igor Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moscovi Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Distiratsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Tasis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lopes in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Igor Lopes sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Benito Sanz showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Remigio Lehen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moscovi Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Distiratsu having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 81st minute of play forced Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Ricardo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Remigio Lehen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Lehen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Moscovi Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th match minute, Moscovi Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Moscovi Ψ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Costa Rica to leave the ground with a draw.
