El Retorno de Palermo's attentive Mikus Linkūns managed to snatch the ball when Nelson de Lima made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Malik. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Mikus Linkūns scored to the left of an out of position Rubinho de Amaral, making the score, 1-0. Rubinho de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikus Linkūns, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral got control of the ball when Aldo Fernanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Retorno de Palermo's attentive Mikus Linkūns managed to snatch the ball when Nico Zonta made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 18th match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho de Amaral having to interfere. Nelson de Lima made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Baltazar Zonta. 23 minutes into the game, Guaberto Rufio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rubinho de Amaral was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Aldo Fernanco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aldo Fernanco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 27th minute, Mikus Linkūns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral got control of the ball when Aldo Fernanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Malik came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Cruzeiro FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gonçalo Sarmento hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Cruzeiro FC's Tales Salgado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, El Retorno de Palermo's Zygmunt Malik tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 46 minutes in the game Nelson de Lima did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luís Guilherme Cabral.

Rubinho de Amaral came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Zygmunt Malik. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Malik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikus Linkūns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jerom Quvelirs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Benicio Osasun notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral. Rubinho de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rubinho de Amaral came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Zygmunt Malik. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Malik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Fernanco in the 66th minute of play. When El Retorno de Palermo's Mikus Linkūns in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Cruzeiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Zygmunt Malik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 80th minute, Zygmunt Malik made a precise shot to the right of Rubinho de Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 82 minutes into the game, El Retorno de Palermo's Benicio Osasun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubinho de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Tinoco in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Retorno de Palermo's Guaberto Rufio. Rubinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Osasun in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Gonçalo Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Retorno de Palermo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
