An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Lima in the 3rd minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Ross Buchanan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ross Buchanan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Emmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho de Amaral having to interfere. Baltazar Zonta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross Buchanan having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's Vivaldo Carmona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ross Buchanan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Zonta in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ross Buchanan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Derick Murry made a precise shot to the right of Rubinho de Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ross Buchanan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Derick Murry made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes in the game Iraunkor Abar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nereo Florinio. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Sundström in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hickman came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Paulo Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cruzeiro FC and the Slower Lower FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmund Bochynski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's Baltazar Zonta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
