The audience was convinced that Silvano Arano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ross Buchanan was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Moreno Torricelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ross Buchanan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreno Torricelli in the 22nd minute of play. Nereo Florinio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Alejandro Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huarriors AFC's David Matthew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Huarriors AFC from getting a goal against them. Alejandro Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Buchanan having to interfere. Ross Buchanan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Martinez's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ross Buchanan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moreno Torricelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Sundström in the 40th minute of play. After the first half Huarriors AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Silvano Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Arano came free, but Ross Buchanan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Huarriors AFC got a corner. Slower Lower FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl Cassilly ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvano Aranos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Ross Buchanan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Huarriors AFC's David Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Florinio in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Hector Hickman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvano Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvano Arano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ross Buchanan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Sundström in the 89th minute of play forced Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Hector Hickman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Carl Cassilly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ross Buchanan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Huarriors AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
