The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Martinez came free, but Aytek Samin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Aytek Samin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Arano. In the 10th minute of the match, Alejandro Martinez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aytek Samin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Aldo Fernanco got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Moreno Torricelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huarriors AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moreno Torricelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th play minute Silvano Arano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aytek Samin. 1-0. David Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Arano came free, but Aytek Samin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Martinez got free with Aytek Samin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Belaid Ziani. In the 33rd minute of the match Carl Cassilly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aytek Samin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvano Arano scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aytek Samin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvano Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Victor Molin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Huang Zhen Bo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Silvano Arano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Aytek Samin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 60th minute of play. Silvano Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aytek Samin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Arano in the 69th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Aytek Samin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Huarriors AFC's Silvano Arano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytek Samin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. David Matthew was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Martin Videl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Videl really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. In the 94th minute, Aldo Fernanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huarriors AFC had won after a very even match.
