Paragüil FC's Artemio Oliveiro got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Artemio Oliveiro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Olo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga got control of the ball when Gogo Gagriel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Gogo Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Oliveiro in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Artemio Oliveiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurício Veiga. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ booed when Paragüil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Veiga came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Paragüil FC's Artemio Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Artemio Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goalkeeper Maurício Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Silvio Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paragüil FC's Artemio Oliveiro in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goalie prevented a goal. A well placed Artemio Oliveiro short distance shot in the 36th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Artemio Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Veiga having to interfere. Maurício Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Oliveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Gagriel got free with Maurício Veiga in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Simão to make the kick off. Rodrigo Reno hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gogo Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Veiga having to interfere. Maurício Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Oliveiro's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Paragüil FC's Gogo Gagriel made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Veiga came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paragüil FC's Artemio Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Artemio Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Paragüil FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
