In the 11th minute Martin Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as El Retorno de Palermo's Aldo Fernanco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvio Hanni. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Mikus Linkūns did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Silvio Hanni 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paragüil FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Laureano Olo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Martin Videl took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Silvio Hanni to make any attempt to save it. Mikus Linkūns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Silvio Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aytek Samin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Garoa in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Martin Videl notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Paragüil FC's Silvio Hanni. Silvio Hanni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Artemio Oliveiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Paragüil FC's Laureano Olo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aldo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvio Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Videl in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Videl in the 59th minute of play forced Paragüil FC's goalkeeper Silvio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 60th minute of the match. The Paragüil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Hanni should have stopped the shot. Silvio Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 86th minute of the match. Silvio Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Fernanco went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Videl in the 91st minute of play forced Paragüil FC's goalkeeper Silvio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the El Retorno de Palermo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
