Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rachid Rowe took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gerry Roebuck hit a great ball. Ronan King came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by De Gulden Draak's Evert Heremans. But to his dismay, Evert Heremans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evert Heremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan King having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Hilsea's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Breitbücher came free, but Ronan King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Rachid Rowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismail Köhler came out of the goal and Rachid Rowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronan King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismail Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Rowe in the 21st minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Gerry Roebuck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilsea and the De Gulden Draak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerry Roebuck kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Ronald Breitbücher made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hilsea's Ronan King tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronan King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Breitbücher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Porsche to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Ronald Breitbücher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronan King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hilsea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konstantin Havemann was slow to take the kick. During this time De Gulden Draak's players had a chance to rest. The corner led De Gulden Draak's Konstantin Havemann to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronan King despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Roebuck to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Hilsea defense, Ronald Breitbücher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronan King. The Hilsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronan King should have stopped the shot. Hilsea's Ronan King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellis Thierse in the 40th minute of play. Ronan King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Heremans in the 42nd minute of play. Ismail Köhler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Rowe in the 44th minute of play. Ronan King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Breitbücher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Ronald Breitbücher made the kick off in the second half. Ronald Breitbüchers short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Ronan King to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rachid Rowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ismail Köhler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Wörmann's late challenge caught a Hilsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Wörmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Herbert Wörmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Heremans in the 66th minute of play forced Hilsea's goalkeeper Ronan King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rachid Rowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Craven hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Heremans in the 70th minute of play forced Hilsea's goalkeeper Ronan King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fox Abendroth kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Ellis Thierse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Gulden Draak and the Hilsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ellis Thierse hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Havemann to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Breitbücher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ronan King made a huge save. Ronald Breitbücher scored 0-8 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronan King, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Rowe to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Alain Bamford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when Hilsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Rowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The De Gulden Draak supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing De Gulden Draak would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
