Edu Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Lobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Edu Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Conrado Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Lobo having to interfere. After 24 played minutes ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Baresi. Gernando Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Veto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Efrain Orlondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Orlondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Carolo Veto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Peter Crouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes got control of the ball when Efrain Orlondo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Crouch was the one to do the kick off. Carolo Veto struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gernando Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★. Gernando Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th play minute Edu Souza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anastasio Lobo. 0-1. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Orlondo in the 68th minute of play. Gernando Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros-Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Crouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Conrado Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Frankie Baresi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gernando Paes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ reached it. After a rather tough play, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Frankie Baresi got a free kick in the 80th minute. Guillermo Barros-Schelloto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Virgílio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Ferraz. After a rather tough play, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Cristian Brasil got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edu Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Anastasio Lobo made a huge save. The ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nas Horas Vagas F.C to win.
