Osvaldo Vergaray was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vincent Albbrecht. 11 minutes into the match, Salomone Weber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Vergaray, 1-0. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Falconara Albanese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Wüthrich got free with Osvaldo Vergaray in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Casimiro Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falconara Albanese's attentive Miguel Lehoi managed to snatch the ball when Vincent Albbrecht made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Nikola Portner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Sanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 34 played minutes Falconara Albanese got a freekick which was hit by Svante Springfält. 35 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Salomone Weber came free, but Osvaldo Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Espen Steelers got a corner. Falconara Albanese's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vincent Albbrecht ran over to the corner to take the kick. Espen Steelers's Dominik Sauerberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Vergaray in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Narciso Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Portner came out of the goal and Narciso Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Jacinto Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Txomin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Salomone Weber came free, but Osvaldo Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espen Steelers were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Falconara Albanese's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vincent Albbrecht took the corner. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Dominik Sauerberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Vergaray quite easily take care of the ball. Osvaldo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Sauerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Falconara Albanese's Casimiro Txomin got a free kick in the 64th minute. Espen Steelers's Andres Ambühl was substituted for Dominik Sauerberg. Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomone Weber in the 72nd minute of play. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Erasmo Emesto replaced Vincent Albbrecht. In the 77th minute, Espen Steelers's Tobie Canclini seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tobie Canclini the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Espen Steelers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobie Canclini had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espen Steelers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Espen Steelers:s Nikola Portner showed great skill when he stopped Nestor Quintan:s penalty. 84 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Txomin came free, but Nikola Portner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giancarlo Weissmuller's late challenge caught a Falconara Albanese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giancarlo Weissmuller helped the player get up and apologised. Nikola Portner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Montez in the 85th minute of play. Falconara Albanese's Narciso Jacob quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erasmo Emesto, made in the 87th minute of the game. Casimiro Txomin came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nikola Portner could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Montez came free, but Nikola Portner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Espen Steelers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
