In the 7th match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartmut Achterberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingars Miders in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siim Kikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ioan Mavrodin got free with Siim Kikas in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Ingars Miders fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. De Gulden Draak's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Ioan Mavrodin scored to the left of an out of position Siim Kikas, making the score, 1-0. Macaco F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermínio Cavalcante in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yılmaz Candar. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Nils Biege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Gulden Draak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Biege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De Gulden Draak's Nils Biege got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Haciqämbär Carabajal hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Mavrodin to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellis Thierse in the 32nd minute of play. Ingars Miders struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Siim Kikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macaco F.C.. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Gulden Draak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermínio Cavalcante was slow to take the kick. During this time Macaco F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Macaco F.C.'s Luisinho Lira to fire away a dangerous shot which Siim Kikas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Ingars Miders made the kick off in the second half. When Macaco F.C.'s Ingars Miders in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62nd minute Ingars Miders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siim Kikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Mavrodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingars Miders scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siim Kikas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Carlos Penha got a free kick in the 80th minute. Stasio Wisniewski charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasio Wisniewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, one of Macaco F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Macaco F.C.. 83 minutes into the match, Konstantin Havemann notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ioan Mavrodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingars Miders in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siim Kikas saved De Gulden Draak from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Haciqämbär Carabajal got a free kick in the 96th minute. Konstantin Havemann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Macaco F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of De Gulden Draak for a fine match.
