Berga BK were furious when Fredric Odin was red carded, 2 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Petter Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Petter Karlsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 11 minutes into the game, Hilario Mikeldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berga BK the free kick. After 11 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Mikeldi. Petter Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Mikeldi in the 18th minute of play. Berga BK's Petter Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Berga BK from getting a goal against them. Petter Karlsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Bernabe Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Claude in the 24th minute of play forced Berga BK's goalkeeper Petter Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelle Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Berga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. Stig Klint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarl Vennerdal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Stig Klint made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. El Retorno de Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Henry Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Bernabe Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stig Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Claude took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Karlsson. Petter Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, Hilario Mikeldi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Berga BK's Petter Karlsson. Petter Karlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Stig Klint sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Berga BK's Jarl Vennerdal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hilario Mikeldi took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Karlsson. Petter Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ernesto Claude took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Karlsson. Berga BK's Petter Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Nabar in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that El Retorno de Palermo were the better team. El Retorno de Palermo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
