Chip Chiper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Casimiro Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Falconara Albanese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Txomin couldn't finish the play. Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Ommen in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Falconara Albanese were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When the match was over Falconara Albanese could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PAIDAGOGOS throughout the match.
