With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siim Kikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Domalik in the 7th minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Boguslaw Bartochowski made a precise shot to the right of Siim Kikas. De Gulden Draak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Zbigniew Domalik came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bialski Bastion Legii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbigniew Domalik couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siim Kikas saved De Gulden Draak from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Bartochowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siim Kikas was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ronald Breitbücher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Walery Bartelak made a huge save. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Bialski Bastion Legii booed when De Gulden Draak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Rebell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zbigniew Domalik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siim Kikas saved De Gulden Draak from getting behind. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bialski Bastion Legii's Stanislaw Odachowski got a free kick in the 37th minute. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Gonsiewski in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes De Gulden Draak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marek Malik who took care of the corner kick. Siim Kikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Bartochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Boguslaw Bartochowski made a precise shot to the right of Siim Kikas. De Gulden Draak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronald Breitbücher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Malik in the 58th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Milosz Starogardzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bialski Bastion Legii and the De Gulden Draak players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bialski Bastion Legii getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Milosz Starogardzki hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Boguslaw Bartochowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Siim Kikas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 70th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Gulden Draak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marek Malik was slow to take the kick. During this time Bialski Bastion Legii's players had a chance to rest. Marek Malik made a great header on Bialski Bastion Legii's corner, it was just that De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas managed to reach the ball for a save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bialski Bastion Legii would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
