After a rather tough play, Bialski Bastion Legii's Hugon Polkoski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The Bialski Bastion Legii fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ashley Titmus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rachid Rowe saved Hilsea from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hilsea's Ian Houghton got a free kick in the 17th minute. Zbigniew Domalik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Rowe having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rachid Rowe. Rachid Rowe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 27th minute Hugon Polkoski collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 27 minutes, Ashley Titmus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilsea and the Bialski Bastion Legii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bialski Bastion Legii made a substitution. Marian Radziszewski replaced Hugon Polkoski. Gerry Roebuck kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rod Craven hit a great ball. Bialski Bastion Legii's Marek Malik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rachid Rowe but with some difficulty. Boguslaw Bartochowskis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Rachid Rowe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Bartochowski lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Rachid Rowe. Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rachid Rowe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute, Boguslaw Bartochowski made a precise shot to the right of Rachid Rowe. Hilsea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ashley Titmus made the kick off in the second half. Rachid Rowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Bartochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Gonsiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rachid Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bialski Bastion Legii fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Bartochowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Rowe was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Boguslaw Bartochowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Bialski Bastion Legii's Bogdan Odachowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rachid Rowe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After having played for 72 minutes, Marek Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bialski Bastion Legii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Boguslaw Bartochowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rachid Rowe was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Jerzy Gonsiewski sped through Hilsea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rachid Rowe. In the 83rdth minute of the game Boguslaw Bartochowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hilsea's Rachid Rowe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Marek Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bialski Bastion Legii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Rowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Bartochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rachid Rowe came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Bialski Bastion Legii's Stanislaw Odachowski. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Odachowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Bialski Bastion Legii's Marek Malik got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hilsea's zone, Boguslaw Bartochowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Rowe came out of the goal and Boguslaw Bartochowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilsea's goalie prevented a goal.
