The referee ignored COURO COME FC's protests and gave Nildo Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Chaves. Nildo Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo Machado made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joacim Myhr. Rômulo Machado made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luiz Paulo do Valle however managed to control. If Kip William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaac Olentzaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kip William in the 45th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Anderson Prata put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of COURO COME FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Acade:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nildo Chaves made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kip William in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Olentzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rômulo Machado made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joacim Myhr immediately put the ball in play. COURO COME FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Paulo do Valle in the 69th minute. But to his dismay, Felipe Saturnin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. COURO COME FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
