Clemente Benvido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tarada made a substitution. Florian Walther replaced Piotrek Zielinski. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar was substituted for Aristides Villanueva. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Wielowiejski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Wielowiejski in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. The coaching staff of Canalla Fuego protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niceto Ponte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 59th minute, one of Canalla Fuego:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canalla Fuego. Clemente Benvido had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Oskar Gunnarsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Wielowiejski in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. Carlos Aimar struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Henrick Zeier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalla Fuego. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Aimar got free with Henrick Zeier in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match, Carlos Aimar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henrick Zeier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Gian Leu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrick Zeier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
