In the 9th minute of the match, Shao Kun Yuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dario Wilhelm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Gervásio Severiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Traian Hăvârneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arthur Guerra hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Gervásio Severiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amir Lee took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Qiu Sheng Bang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm was a little too slow when Shao Kun Yuan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 45th minute of play. The VB-Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cascade Park West were winning 1-2.

Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 56th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes, VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VB-Team reached it. In the 61st minute, Allen Dalton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 64th minute of the match. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 67th minute of play. Wang Sha Qian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amir Lee got free with Armindo Salgado in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
