In the 9th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Montesacro FC got a corner. Medoacus Maior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paolo Rossi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Sjögren in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Egil Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Sjögren in the 21st minute of the match. Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Sjögren in the 24th minute of play. Egil Sjögren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biagio Tolin. Biagio Tolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Medoacus Maior defense, Loco Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Tolin. The Medoacus Maior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Tolin should have stopped the shot. Anthony Del Gatto made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paolo Rossi. After a rather tough play, Medoacus Maior's Alvaro Tolin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Miguel Tristan scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giacomo Casanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Medoacus Maior players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montesacro FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Tristan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Medoacus Maior's Miguel Tristan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giacomo Casanova was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giacomo Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medoacus Maior were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Montesacro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arrigo Tolin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Medoacus Maior's corner Alvaro Tolin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giacomo Casanova quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th minute, Corrado Piscopo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giacomo Casanova was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Miguel Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giacomo Casanova. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferruccio Baldassarre might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giacomo Casanova. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferruccio Baldassarre ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giacomo Casanova was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Fedele De Rubeis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Rossi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Biagio Tolin. That made the score 4-3 in the 79 minute of play. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Tristan in the 82nd minute of the match. Biagio Tolin made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Loco Palermo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Medoacus Maior booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Del Gatto didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montesacro FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Medoacus Maior.
