With a little luck, PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot got control of the ball when Neron Veterini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neron Veterini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claus Himschoot having to make a save. Kuido Suursaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jake Leonard having to make a save. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 31st minute of play. Freddie Ljungberg made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bruno Scibilia immediately put the ball in play. Kuido Suursaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PomeziaRamblers's Bruno Scibilia got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Cordaro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kuido Suursaar made a kick off. WINNING ELEVEN were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after PomeziaRamblers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonel Cordaro took the corner. The corner led WINNING ELEVEN's Silverio Gipuzkoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Claus Himschoot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Raphael Varan fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PomeziaRamblers's protests and gave Raphael Varan a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in PomeziaRamblers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 61st minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neron Veterini, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. WINNING ELEVEN's Şentürk Orgun was substituted for Leonel Cordaro. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Ermengol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claus Himschoot was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
