PomeziaRamblers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Loco Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Paolo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loco Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claus Himschoot came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren. But to his dismay, Egil Sjögren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Giacomo Casanova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuido Suursaar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuido Suursaar in the 27th minute of the match. If Bruno Scibilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Montesacro FC's Loco Palermo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PomeziaRamblers's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claus Himschoot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Palermo in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 44th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Egil Sjögren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Claus Himschoot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loco Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 54th minute of play. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Egil Sjögren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montesacro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 61st minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Egil Sjögren came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Sjögren couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Loco Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Claus Himschoot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claus Himschoot was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Loco Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Palermo couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Egil Sjögren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Egil Sjögren took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claus Himschoot. Claus Himschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the PomeziaRamblers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montesacro FC.
