The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Lara. Alfonso Iezzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 15th minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Joinvilense hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by PomeziaRamblers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alesandro Coutinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville United - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Joinville United - FSCMZ's Alesandro Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Claus Himschoot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guilherme Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Scibilia went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mané Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claus Himschoot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Mané Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claus Himschoot. PomeziaRamblers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 35th minute of the match, Mané Lara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claus Himschoot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guilherme Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuido Suursaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PomeziaRamblers's Adrián Frick got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuido Suursaar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute Adrián Frick suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mané Lara's late challenge caught a PomeziaRamblers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuido Suursaar got free with Guilherme Catarinense in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Scibilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Catarinense having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Jacek Krzynowek made a precise shot to the right of Claus Himschoot. PomeziaRamblers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Jacek Krzynowek got a free kick in the 96th minute.
