But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Osmond couldn't finish the play. When Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gabbro FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Langsford in the 14th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabbro FC's Arrigo Guerriero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Gruchacz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Gabbro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute of the match, Elberg As got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alessandro Mancinelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mané Lara struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville United - FSCMZ. 33 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lara in the 33rd minute of play. Alessandro Mancinelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi Cardozo in the 35th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Mancinelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mané Lara went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Slæggerup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Mané Lara made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mané Lara came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Joinville United - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Langsford in the 62nd minute of play. Arrigo Guerriero's late challenge caught a Joinville United - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Slæggerup, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Prospero Perfecto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Osmond got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alessandro Mancinelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edvard Slæggerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Gruchacz having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Maurício Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alesandro Coutinho in the 93rd minute of the match. Maurício Donatello scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Mancinelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Joinville United - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
