Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Bartolome got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Merexildo quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Lα Sυв 21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo did a great save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Severiano Enekoitz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes into the game, Cirilo Fe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lα Sυв 21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Severiano Enekoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Severiano Enekoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Lα Sυв 21's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ernesto Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Severiano Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Lα Sυв 21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luo Feng to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play forced Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lα Sυв 21 made a substitution. Pablo Vegetti replaced Severiano Enekoitz. Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari was substituted for Guido Bartolome. Lα Sυв 21's Rolando Orti was substituted for Godofredo Eutor. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Vegetti's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Pablo Vegetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Merexildo. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Pablo Vegetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
