Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Estevez. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MORPH were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. MORPH's Isidro Lano was substituted for Celedonio Esquipula. In the 61st minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute of play. Jose Manzanedo made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orlando Casaus immediately put the ball in play. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 76th minute of play. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Paulo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Mambru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Eguen scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The MORPH supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MORPH would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
