He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Blakeley in the 5th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Theo McNeish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keith Scotland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leigh Blakeley's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo McNeish in the 14th minute of play. Keith Scotland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Keith Scotland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keith Scotland was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leigh Blakeley in the 29th minute of the match. Fidel Lertxun charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Lertxun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Floodish FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Lertxun. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Keith Scotland however easily saved by the left post. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Floodish FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Keith Scotland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Floodish FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Keith Scotland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floodish FC's Keith Scotland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keith Scotland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keith Scotland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Felix Luque managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Theo McNeish in the 75 minute of the game. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Gardner in the 76th minute. Floodish FC's Fidel Lertxun got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Fidel Lertxun off the ground. After a rather tough play, Floodish FC's Fidel Lertxun got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute of play forced Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floodish FC were furious when Paddy McNeish was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 87th minute, Paddy McNeish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 91st minute, Jonathan McDaniell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leigh Blakeley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
