Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Albino Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Loren Eaton came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Manchester Quijano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loren Eaton couldn't finish the play. Albino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa. Albino Berriotxoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Oscar Rito sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mexico booed when Manchester Quijano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Berriotxoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Albino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa managed to reach the ball for a save. Mexico's attentive Felix Luque managed to snatch the ball when Basilio Manny made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jovica Zeković sent off a good shot on target. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Albino Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 43rd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Berriotxoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 47 played minutes Manchester Quijano got a freekick which was hit by Rene Fernendo. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Oscar Rito made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Oscar Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Mexico booed when Manchester Quijano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Albino Berriotxoa made a huge save. In the 75th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manchester Quijano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albino Berriotxoa could save by the left post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manchester Quijano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Albino Berriotxoa, was totally fooled by Mexico's Joel Gaona, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jovica Zeković came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Quijano's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Berriotxoa came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Manchester Quijano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
