The Lα Sυв 21 fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fulgencio Bidari was slow to take the kick. During this time Lα Sυв 21's players had a chance to rest. 86 minutes into the game, Lα Sυв 21's Pablo Vegetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After 88 minutes, Pablo Vegetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lα Sυв 21 and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pablo Vegetti hit a great ball. The Lα Sυв 21 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
