The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, ALYA FC's Gong Cheng Yu got control of the ball when Pranas Užkuraitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 minutes Batalhão do Peçanha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Arif Ceberut who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ALYA FC's Ahmet Arif Ceberut to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Pranas Užkuraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pranas Užkuraitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Yüksel Çelikhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, ALYA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Gong Cheng Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes ALYA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. In the 19th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Cheng Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner Vânderson Vasconcelos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gong Cheng Yu quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Adamowicz came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Yüksel Çelikhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 24th minute of play forced ALYA FC's goalkeeper Gong Cheng Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Pranas Užkuraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters rose to their feet, but Pranas Užkuraitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gong Cheng Yu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Arif Ceberut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Çelikhan in the 38th minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Çelikhan came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yüksel Çelikhan in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yüksel Çelikhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes ALYA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. Miklós Kolozsvári thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gong Cheng Yu, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, ALYA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Gong Cheng Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yüksel Çelikhan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Pranas Užkuraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 66th minute Kacper Adamowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, ALYA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epaminondas Baba came free, but Gong Cheng Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yalçın Abdulhakimoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gong Cheng Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 74th minute of play. ALYA FC made a substitution. Mutlu Hüryaşar replaced Miklós Kolozsvári. Yüksel Çelikhan in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petr Čech, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, ALYA FC's Fahrettin Aşkıner got a free kick in the 84th minute. ALYA FC's Gong Cheng Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 85th minute of play. Gong Cheng Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pranas Užkuraitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Seyfettin Berksu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Yüksel Çelikhan took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Petr Čech to make any attempt to save it.
