Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Panama booed when Trynek Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Jaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Trynek Gliwice defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofil Wielopolski. The Trynek Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofil Wielopolski should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bineesh Dhanabalan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After having played for 18 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Peres in the 25th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofil Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Bineesh Dhanabalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bineesh Dhanabalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Matuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Peres in the 37th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Narciso Peres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Peres really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Tytus Tamulewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tytus Tamulewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Trynek Gliwice getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tytus Tamulewicz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Trynek Gliwice's Boruc Kisiel was substituted for Klement Zapolski. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Peres made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Trynek Gliwice's Narciso Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Bineesh Dhanabalan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bineesh Dhanabalan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Teofil Wielopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Wielopolski having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bineesh Dhanabalan went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Bineesh Dhanabalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
