An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play forced Underdogs's goalkeeper Brak Gola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brak Gola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of the match. Lasse Penttilä kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lasse Penttilä, made in the 45th minute of the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brak Gola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. Underdogs made a substitution. Kacper Mentus replaced Stiff Meister. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Andrzej Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
