Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amaury Hulsen got the match started through his kick off. Waldir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Gaúcho. Valhalla Time's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Jimeno Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes of play, Valhalla Time's Amaury Hulsen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Daniel Zorita suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Shantala during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Luz Palacio replaced Daniel Zorita. A collision led to Valhalla Time getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Francisco Shantala hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luz Palacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jimeno Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luz Palacio was the one to do the kick off. Luis Andino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Amaury Hulsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldir Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Dalmacio Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Waldir Gaúcho made a huge save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Best Tek kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Dalmacio Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Valhalla Time's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Montenegro took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Waldir Gaúcho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valhalla Time fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Valhalla Time:s Waldir Gaúcho showed great skill when he stopped Felix Montenegro:s penalty. Best Tek's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Best Tek helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Best Tek got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luz Palacio made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Hermengildo Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Palacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than Valhalla Time and deserved their victory. The Valhalla Time players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
