Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaw Fafinski came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gustaw Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluca Scamacca was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski. Gustaw Fafinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Scamacca came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaw Fafinski having to make a save. With his leg Gustaw Fafinski managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustaw Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 76th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Stig Rødal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Stig Rødal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elías Olsson to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 92nd minute of play.
