Olo Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Berriotxoa in the 18th minute. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Zamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. When Arrosko Rojas fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Ciudad de Soria's protests and gave Arrosko Rojas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Arrosko Rojas got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eron Patiño hit a great ball. Olo Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Olo Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eron Patiño in the 63rd minute of the match. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Olo Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Olo Kahn in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Gabriel Redondo was substituted for Arrosko Rojas. C.D. Ciudad de Soria made a substitution. Ramond Landa replaced Domenech Villa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Berriotxoa in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Redondo in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Teodoro Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
