Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruddi Stenskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruddi Stenskov having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruddi Stenskov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ruddi Stenskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Enes Saim sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruddi Stenskov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruddi Stenskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruddi Stenskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Ruddi Stenskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Enes Saim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Moises Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enes Saim to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Köse's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruddi Stenskov came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute of the match Josef Hääger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Köse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Urko to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ruddi Stenskov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ruddi Stenskov made a huge save. With a little luck, Köse's Ruddi Stenskov got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Köse's goalkeeper Ruddi Stenskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Köse's Ruddi Stenskov. Ruddi Stenskov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Köse throughout the match.
