After some careless play in the SC Foios defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Belo. The SC Foios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Belo should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Sequeira. Amadeu Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sequeira in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Baltasar Parente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Baltasar Parente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Gildas Guillou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Belo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. SC Foios made a substitution. Bengt-Åke Käller replaced Nicolau Freire. Amadeu Belo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kevin Mastache. With his leg Amadeu Belo managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Belo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Santino Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
