Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Farmer got free with Rolando Noboa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 11th minute. Emmanuel Reyes made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Mayo's Marcus Deacon managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Amílton Siqueira in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Farmer came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amílton Siqueira in the 33 minute of the game. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play. Marcus Deacon came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcus Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Farmer in the 51st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Amílton Siqueira in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcus Deacon. The goal made the score 0-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Robins in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Mayo's Patrick Robins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 94th of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Marcus Deacon got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 96th minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
