Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) spikarna's Kaj Hård started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atakan Pepe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 5thth minute of the game Kaj Hård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Kaj Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Norberg saved spikarna from getting behind. Atakan Pepe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Norberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Sven Nordkvist got a free kick in the 40th minute. 洪岚泉 kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. A long shot from Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of play was well struck, but Lars Norberg made a really good save at the right post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Kaj Hård came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the spikarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Hård couldn't finish the play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye spikarna's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Norberg having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Olof Hamnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. spikarna's Lars Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Kaj Hård stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Kaj Hård tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, spikarna could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
