Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CRUZ DEL SUR from getting a goal against them. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 14th minute of play. Augusto Estefan struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRUZ DEL SUR. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachariasz Dudkowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abundio Manzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's Augusto Estefan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Augusto Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Augusto Estefan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fan Yong Zhan made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Augusto Estefan. If Augusto Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Augusto Estefan tried to sneak it across the goal line. CRUZ DEL SUR's Augusto Estefan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachariasz Dudkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zachariasz Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pippin Aguilera in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Pippin Aguilera came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pippin Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the CRUZ DEL SUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pippin Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Antonio Tenorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Dudkowski having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Fabio Zorondo sent off a good shot on target. Loco Ron made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bautista Marcó. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Eustacio Antonucci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustacio Antonucci really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
