Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Ivarsson in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Staffan Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIÖ IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Staffan Ivarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th match minute, DIÖ IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Ivarsson in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Staffan Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Staffan Ivarsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIÖ IK's goalkeeper Yngve Göransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Göransson having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Göransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tage Vassenius struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIÖ IK. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Yngve Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DIÖ IK's Georg Sjöman was substituted for Mats Wallin. DIÖ IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elof Pååk in the 86th minute. DIÖ IK's Staffan Ivarsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute DIÖ IK were awarded a corner. Elof Pååk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Elof Pååk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DIÖ IK:s goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DIÖ IK fully deserved thier win.
