Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlinhos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 2nd minute of the match. José Augusto Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the AA GUARULHOS defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Freitas. The AA GUARULHOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Freitas should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlinhos Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlinhos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlinhos Freitas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. Carlinhos Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes AA GUARULHOS got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Ramalho. The AA GUARULHOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Finlay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos Freitas saved AA GUARULHOS from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Carlinhos Freitas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Luca Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alberto Tafalla in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlinhos Freitas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlinhos Freitas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlinhos Freitas. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play. AA GUARULHOS's Luís Paulo Catarinense was substituted for Jacobo Porfirio. 79 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas. Carlinhos Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lance Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AA GUARULHOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Cabezas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlinhos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AA GUARULHOS throughout the match.
