Loco Higuita made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Kastanos came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Loco Higuita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Loco Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Loco Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakis Kastanos in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Loco Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Vasiloiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Panaitescu in the 34th minute of play. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakis Kastanos made a kick off. Loco Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 55 minutes into the match, KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Loco Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Higuita having to interfere. Lorenzo Cazalla lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. Loco Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A beautiful save bye KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loco Higuita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakis Kastanos got free with Dante Lacasa in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 88th minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Kastanos in the 91st minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
