Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timo Kaltenbach started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Stuber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Timo Kaltenbach struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daxenbach FSV. In the 11th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timo Kaltenbach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Kaltenbach in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Daxenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Julian Stuber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daxenbach FSV's goalkeeper Julian Stuber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Stuber was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Stuber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Timo Kaltenbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Julian Stuber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Timo Kaltenbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Randy Hübsch was slow to take the kick. During this time Daxenbach FSV's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Brückner in the 35th minute of the match. Timo Kaltenbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Daxenbach FSV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Daxenbach FSV's Julian Stuber did a great save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Brückner in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julian Stuber was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Daxenbach FSV's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Stuber came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Julian Stuber in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Julian Stuber made a huge save. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julian Stuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
