Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valdo Velloso made the kick off which started today's match. Doni Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conrado Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni Nóbrega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Nóbrega. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ARON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match, Valdo Velloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ARON FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Nóbrega came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Doni Nóbrega was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Doni Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. ARON FC's Doni Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ARON FC from getting a goal against them. Doni Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Waldir dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Pombal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Doni Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 77th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Doni Nóbrega, passed just outside the right post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 81st minute, but Doni Nóbrega got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ARON FC hanging dry this time. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Waldir dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARON FC's protests and gave Waldir dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ARON FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Waldir dos Santos hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Donatello. Doni Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Felix Montes sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ecuador played a much better game than ARON FC and deserved their victory. The ARON FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
