Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but 倪卫雄 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Delay Sports defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Lluc. The Delay Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Lluc should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, 徐皓钢 notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Delay Sports booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 倪卫雄's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Delay Sports's Bastian Jork quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by 倪卫雄 in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 52nd minute, 倪卫雄 made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If 倪卫雄 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 倪卫雄, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 徐皓钢 in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 67th minute. When 高川荣 came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Delay Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 高川荣 couldn't finish the play. The Delay Sports fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Delay Sports's 倪卫雄 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, 倪卫雄 made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Delay Sports were the better team. Delay Sports's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
