The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luca Iosif was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Christian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luca Iosif quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Horea Malcocea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luca Iosif was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Iosif saved FERRARI from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Malcocea came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The penalty shot was made by Vlad Mârza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 1-2. After a rather tough play, FERRARI's Octav Zglimbea got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute, Horea Malcocea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FERRARI booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Alex Rădulescu fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRARI's protests and gave Alex Rădulescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Alex Rădulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horea Malcocea during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FERRARI getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Horea Malcocea hit a great ball. Luca Iosif acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luca Espinar. Luca Espinar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luca Iosif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 96th minute. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Milagros Cabal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luca Iosif, 1-4.
