Marco Ruben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were awarded a corner. Vitinho Madureira went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Jacob May in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Baltazar Weidt. 24 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Ederono Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ederono Vilardell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ederono Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 28th minute of play. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ederono Vilardell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 34th minute of play forced ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goalkeeper Ederono Vilardell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ederono Vilardell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 56th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ederono Vilardell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ederono Vilardell had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Monty Rogers from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Mané Meirelles put in a rough tackle. In the 65th match minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Ederono Vilardell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ederono Vilardell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 84th minute of the match. Khalid Parry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ederono Vilardell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
